An elderly carpenter intends to retire from his job at a real estate construction company. He expresses himself to the company owner. Of course, because it did not work, he would lose his monthly income, but that decision was made. He felt tired. He wants to relax and enjoy the rest of his old age peacefully with his wife and family.
The company owner was sad to lose one of his best workers. He then begged the carpenter to make a home for himself.
Carpenter nodded in agreement that the company owner's personal request. But, in fact he felt forced. He wanted to stop. His heart was not fully devoted. Reluctantly he worked on the project. He just uses modest materials. Finally the house was finished being asked. The result is not a good home. It's too bad he had to end his career with a performance that is not so awesome.
When the owner came to inspect the house he asked, he handed the front door key to the carpenter. "This is your house," he said, "a gift from us."
How shocked the carpenter. How ashamed and sorry. If only he knew that he was actually working on a house for himself, he would have done in a different way altogether. Now he must live in a house that is not his own work too good.
That's what happened in our lives. Sometimes, many of us are building a life in a way that is confusing. Preferring instead to seek a perfunctory attempt good. In fact, the most important parts of our lives does not give you the best. At the end of the trip we were surprised to see what we have done and find ourselves living in a house of our own.
If we were aware of from the beginning we would go through this life with a much different way.
Ponder that we are the carpenter. Ponder the house we are building. Every day we hit the nail, put up signs, setting up walls and a roof. Let's finish our homes as well as possible as if the only work once in a lifetime. Even though we only live one day, in one day, we deserve to live a full majesty and glory. What could be more clearly explained. Life
tomorrow is the result of our attitudes and choices that we make today. Day of reckoning is God's, not ours, so make sure we would be in the ranks of victory.
